Greetings!
On behalf of my department, it is my honor to welcome you all to the Department of Pharmacy at Kathmandu University.
Pharmacy is a dynamic field that scientifically deals in the area of medicine including discovery of drugs, their manufacturing and care of patients. The Department of Pharmacy is the pioneer for higher studies of pharmacy in Nepal. Since its establishment in 1994, it has aligned its objectives to fulfill the greater mission of the University i.e. “To provide quality education for leadership”. We provide our students with academic excellence through the provision of specialized faculty, well equipped labs, innovative research and connecting its graduates with the community. The department routinely aligns its curriculum and looks forward to expanding its graduate courses in light of the field's developing prospects and challenges. It is our pride that our alumni are contributing and leading various disciplines of the pharmacy sector within the country and abroad. As the head of the department, I assure all my students, faculty, staff and alumni that we will continue the legacy while adding new milestones.
