Kathmandu University is established in 1991 with the vision of “to become a world-class university devoted to bringing knowledge and technology to the service of mankind”. To accomplish the vision, missions are important. The university vision will be accomplished if departments and its schools accomplish the missions on time envisioned with vision of the university. Since the establishment of the pharmacy department in 1994, the department set the missions envisioned as per vision of the university. This department is able to create national history to become pioneer to start pharmacy programs in university level and this is in continuation by starting graduate programs with different specializations. It's my privilege to be in the leadership position of this historical, prestigious and signatory department of the university.
